70% Quieter Springs?
I recently received an e mail from Pyramid Air advertising a spring set that was up to 70% more quiet than factory installed springs.

Has anyone tried one of these spring sets on an RWS 34?

thanks, Andy

Interesting, I wonder how hard it is to install. Do you have a picture of the spring removal tool?

A good tune up with a quality spring will sure be a LOT smother and quieter, don't know if 70% is realistic. Not too hard to remove spring just be careful. If your nervous first time you try, get or rig up a tool, but I don't usually bother, the springs aren't all that tough and can be shoved in with a T handle Allen key or whatever.
Keep your face out of the line of fire in case you loose it, and don't forget the eye protection. My girlfriend did come home one night just after I'd let one go straight through the kitchen ceiling, the bloody thing was so rusted up that when I removed the pin it took a second to let go and caught me out.
If you really go for it with a top tuning kit and a fair bit of effort, it's amazing how much better a gun can get.
