I have searched here and not found a lot on this rifle, has anyone got one and what results have you had. Any reviews I have looked at are about 50/50.

like all Gamo rifles-promises more power than it delivers( the velocity claims are pie in the sky bullshit- even with the lightest pellets available-which are almost always terribly inaccurate). typical mass production, cheap manufacturing, Chinese machining quality. that said, probably not a bad buy- at stateside prices. i am guessing that with the import duty in Zim, you are getting reamed.

I bought a Gamo .17 rifle don't remember the model #, ss barreled action and synthetic stock advertised at 1000ft/sec. It chronographed at 925 ft/sec and the accuracy was terrible. It has the worst trigger long inconsistent and heavy even though it has adjustable length of pull, it didn't help. I was ready to give it away untill I read on the forum about having a complete tune up by an. air gun specialist. I sent it to a gentelman in South Carolina named Charlie the Tuna he installed his own trigger and replaced the spring no more twang and now it's worthy of keeping . It cost around $170 money well spent for the work. If it was me I'd start off with a quality gun and save yourself some frustration. Best of luck
