<generalwar>Who manufactures the best air rifle in your opinion?
Who manufactures the most accurate and powerful air rifle in your opinion? Considering price is not an issue as well.

jdollarwhen power is introduced into the question, you open a large door and find lots of small production companies producing high powered big bores( Quackenbush, Haley, etc.). if you are really asking about quality and accuracy, then the answer is Daystate followed very closely by FX, Air Arms and HW.

Simon SteynWhen it comes to accuracy at 100m with a 5.5mm then its Theoben

The SpecialistAny top end Pre charged will do the same thing pretty much as far as accuracy goes.
The Daystate Air Wolf is probably the most powerful off the shelf. Good company backup as well.
HW are probably the best made of the mid price range and work straight off with no messing around.
Air Arms are Great, but not capable of the power that other guns will do now.
Theoben has fallen way behind, the worst customer service in the history of gun making and selling over priced rubbish guns that don't even work, has finally bit them in the ass.
If you are lucky and get a good one you'll be happy, but on average they are a DIY project and an expensive one at that.
That's why over here there was a whole industry modifying and "Tuning" them.
And don't forget the Air Force Talon and their other models, they really have made big improvements over the years. They are simple powerful and accurate. At a good price.
Forget FX they don't even come into the question.
A friend of a friend changed from a Air Arms that he was getting scores of 55 out of 60 regularly in comps with, to an FX for some bizarre reason (he was warned) his best scores are now in the LOW 40s that's on the rare occasions when the POS actually works on the day.
So if anyone wants one, that one is going CHEAP.

Amen to that. I bought an Eliminator new and it four trip back to get it right. Not one word of explanation much less apology. Never again. I wouldn't call it rubbish, it is a nice rifle but no way worth the aggravation they put me through.

Gatsby26If it's a springer my tip goes to HW!

jdollarspringers don't enter the equation since the poster was interested in accuracy PLUS POWER. no springer will produce the power of a PCP- NO WAY, NO HOW.

What about the issues caused by constant chamber pressure?
