vapodogair operated hand guns
I'm looking for a (window gun) for the local rabbit population....I'm thinking a handgun with decent accuracy potential and enough power to put the kibash on an adult rabbit at fifty feet....
What caliber and make/model will do this reliably?

J_ZolaI have a Beaman P1 which is fairly fast for a air-pistol. It is hard to shoot accurately and not that great on game bigger than birds. I would look for a rifle.
I am not sure about taking on rabbits at 50', but I have a current vintage Benjamin pump-up in .177. I am amazed at its accuracy with or without the red dot sight I put on it.
Once you decide on a pellet and a number of pumps, it is easy to sight in.
Power-wise, the only beast I have shot with it was a pigeon, at about 20', but with only 3 pumps in order to keep the sound level down. It did what it needed to do, but it wasn't like the pigeon was struck by lightning.
The grips are tiny so I got one of the slip over rubber grips.
While I am a fan of Benjamins, I think a rabbit at 50' would be pushing the envelope.

carpetman1I have an older Benjamin .22 cal. Power was a joke. Had it bebuilt--power still a joke. Probably would kill flies at 10 feet but I'd not expect much more out of it. Get a rifle.
Just my two cents:

I'm very pleased with my two Mountain Air ; Pump Pistol .25 cal / C02 Carbine .25 cal
