aktoklatBore Solvent, Coppper Remover.
I have heard nothing but great reviews about Wipe-out. I have not tried it as yet. Awaiting for samples from Terry Paul. However, I have used Bore Tech's Eliminator with outstanding results. It is in liquid form. Three wet patchs and a 15 minute sit with patches behind a jag cleaned a heavily copper fouled barrel to squeaky clean bare metal. I was wondering if others have tried this amazinng product? My shooting partner used Wipe-Out and then used Eliminator and informed me he had some green color on his patches, indicating the Eliminator removed some more copper. This was his experience. When I receive the Wipe-Out products, I plan on using Wipe-out and then Eliminator and giving both an honest evaluation and see what the results I achieve.

To be fair you may have to reverse the above procedure, as the residue of either solvent may still be getting copper out of the pores of the metal for some time. With me, if I can't see it it ain't there.

RUNASBore tech eliminator is AWSOME. When I was running in my Sako 375h&h I had terrible time with copper, Noting would touch it until I found Bore Tech.
I threw everything else away, and got a big bottle of it.

30ott6Where did you find Eliminator? I see that Brownell's carries it- 4 ounces for $13.95. Is there a better source?
