Is it OK to store a firearm in a Boyt type case in a dry environment? By a dry environment I mean the main part of one's house (closet), not in a basement. Thanks.

Short term I'd say OK
Long term, more than a week or two, NO.
The linning of the case will wick away the oils on the barrel.
