Good evidence he is not proficient with a gun . . . and not a rhino poacher.
He actually hit a giraffe with his truck while I was there in 2011.

nubeGreat report Larry!!! It looks like you had a good hunt. I love the looks of that wide buff you posted a pic of. I think I need a trip to Arda or Sango to et me one of those lol

Larry, great report and photos. At least my (former) knife has been on an elephant hunt!

Will, you are right. They are damn lucky it was an impala rather than a bigger animal. We hazed the pilot and told him he had to pay a trophy fee before he left. We all laughed but it was a nervous laugh. This could have been far worse. For me, this is the 3rd airplane problem in 8 charter legs. I will bet Giles doesn't like to see my name.
Several people have been inquiring about Mary Lynn. She had breast cancer a couple of years ago. She discovered some lymph node issues on the same side she had cancer. These were removed on Tuesday. We got the test results this morning. They are negative thank goodness. I appreciate all of the concern for her.
Really really good news and well done on your safari in what sounds like a game paradise.
