GRP:

The buff was exciting to say the least! This was also my first hunt in Africa. We spotted two old Dugga boys and tracked them for quite a ways, got to within 30 yards in the tall grass and I could not get a good shot to the vitals. The two bulls took off and we tracked them again, they jumped up at about 60 yards I took an off hand shot right behind the shoulder. He took off, we started checking the blood trail and then heard the death bellow, he had gone about 500 yards with a .375 H&H through the lungs. The Zebra was also a challenge, two days of tracking with no success due to the Giraffe conspiracy. I took one Zebra at the Sentinal and one at Bishopstone. I am enclosing a photo of the Zebra from Bishopstone. My hunting partner and I had a very successfull hunt and made some good friends along the way. Looking forward to seeing some of your photos.

Here is a picture of my cape buffalo taken in the Omay area of Zimbabwe with my PH Wayne Barylett of Bishopstone Safaris. We took the buf on the first day of our hunt 9-3-2004. I will post a few other pictures of the plains game we took on the Sentinel area along the Limpopo river in Zimbabwe. I have enclosed a photo of my Kudu, Impala, and bush pig.

Yes I got to meet Waynes step dad got a chance to see all his triphys and pictures of previous hunts. It's amazing to think how fun it must have been growing up there. Sad to see what is happening. I told my buddy Dave that I am now suffering from sevear withdrawls and would need to get back very soon. He may be going back to crop some Elees early next year. I don't know if I can last until 2006. When do you plan on returning to your leopard hunt?

I'm not sure, I do know it's not Bishope Stone. He got a very good deal, but it's very hot and only a 7 day hunt.Have not heard anything back from him.
