Widowmaker416Report from Buffalo Range Safaris, Zimbabwe
Just got a email from Barry at Buffalo Range Safaris in Zimbabwe, for you folks that think Zimbabwe isn't the place to go anymore!
They are having a great year, so far:"to date include 25 buffalo, 4 elephant
2 of which are 60 pounders), 5 leopard, 4 sable, 4 crocs and 3 hippo. With 14 safaris pending, It is amazing how Buffalo Range continues to produce first-class trophies, including the monster hippo and 14 foot croc recently taken by an American hunter!" as quoted by Barry Style
These guys are a good bunch to hunt with if anyone is looking PM me or check out their web site ,
http://www.buffalorangesafaris.comI'm planning to go back next year and the year after that!!!

Charles_HelmDo they book though anyone in the States, or do you have to send them a deposit in Zim?
I'm not questioning their integrity, just curious.

Charles_HelmThanks for the info. I have a DVD (
Death by Double Rifle) where I think Barry Styles is the PH for the Zim portion of the hunt.
Still making a plan for a return to Africa and assessing my options.

Well, I've only watched it twice so far but I agree. It is interesting to compare the reaction of the buffalo to the medium and heavier bore doubles. Then the charge sequence is good as well.

Yes. I have that one as well. Any other great double rifle hunt videos on DVD I am missing? Other than N E 450 No 2's?
