RugSS Pro Safaris Limpopo
Mrs Rug and I just got home from a wonderful vacation in South Africa. I have had the great pleasure of hunting with SS Pro Safaris on 3 previous trips, this would be my wife's Africa. I really wanted her to enjoy it like I have, and I felt my good friends the Van Zyls could help her see Africa and all of its beauty.
We left our home in Georgia, flew from Atlanta to JoBerg nonstop, long but uneventful. The new terminal in Atlanta made checking my old rifle a breeze. When we landed I went very fast thru the police station with no wait and no problems.
Now to the fun stuff, I tried to keep the shooting to a minimum, and do a bit more sight seeing. One day we went to Mama Taus lion breeding operation for a nice tour to see lions up close. This was educational and fun. Another evening we went on a river boat ride at sunset saw some Crocs had a few Drinks and watched the sunset.
I did manage to shoot a wildebeast, a zebra and a warthog. But my favorite was a large baboon the biggest I have ever taken. My old Weatherby 270 wby mag is the only rifles I took on this trip. I shot 140 grain Nosler Ballistic tips only. I am not much of a typist (more talker) so here are the pics

CapraRug, I have hunted twice with Scott from SS Pro Safaris, he has some great land, where you shot that wildebeest is where I shot one of my big Kudus.

It's my wifes fault. She wasn't here to do the spellcheck for me.
Heck, I got it right 1 out of 2 times.
