Mark Gunton from New Zealand hunted 2 countries each year in 2 consecutive years . Mark has hunted Botswana ( Kalahari plains game and Buffalo and Leopard Okavango ) twice and Mozambique ( Niassa ) before with us and collected some great trophies including a 45.5 inch Sable. Mark's main quest in 2012 was elephant . As Mark is not a great computor guy I am posting pictures for him.
The areas and game he hunted in 2011 and 2012 are ;NG 47 and NG 9 in Botswana and the Selous in Tanzania. Both countries in both years
Mark shot a 55 pound elephant, hippo , 14 and a half foot croc , Zebra and some plains game in Tanzania.
In Botswana Mark shot 2 elephant in 8 days the first in the Okavango area which went 65x58 and the second in Ng 47 which even though late in the season went 66x62.
We finished off the hunt with 2 days in the Okavango fishing camp , fishing for Tiger , Bream and Nemwe ( a tilapia ) which looks similar to the Peacock Bass being green with red edged fins - superb eating !!
On the Rufij we also caught some great Tiger Fish. Mark is a great guy and being from kiwi land we had great fun with banter about Rugby.
The PH's were Arthur Vickerman, Gavin Godfrey and myself in Botswana and Johnathan Taylor in Tanzania.
