Hey everyone just returned today from a 19 day Elephant and buffalo hunt in Zimbabwe with Matapula hunters. We had a great hunt taking two huge bodied Hwange elephant bulls.......and the Ivory is not too shabby either! I will post pics and a full report in a day or so when I get gathered up from the trip.

I also had the pleasure of sharing the flight to Joburg from Atlanta with Hook on his way to Uganda to hunt with Steve..... glad to see the trip was a success.

hI jASON, fINALLY WE DID´T MEET. I missed you by a day. Scott told me you had a wonderful time but no luck with your dads buffalo. Next trip you will be more lucky. Finally I shoot a 90 and 63 lbs elephant in my second day a lion and hiena on my first night, and a buffalo shoot by sergio on the 5th day. After that, no more super luck. 10 days hunting for leopard with dogs and we didn´t get lucky. put the dogs on tracks 4 times but never catched up with Mr Spots. Another wonderful safari with Matupula. Hope Tim or Ziggy from the osprey company can put some of the pictures of this wonderful hunt on AR. herd you shoot a beautiful 60 pounder hope to see pictures soon

I wish we could have met up and traded some stories. That is too bad about your Leopard but I am sure with that once in 10 lifetimes elephant and a lion it was pretty easy to accept
