Well, its kind of strange being 48 years old and hunted most of my life, with 5 trips to Alaska, years chasing whitetails in south Texas/Mexico, western US etc and now I'm a rookie at hunting in Africa, head out tomorrow for my first plans game hunt. Have hunt booked with Scottco Safari (Jaco Scott PH). I packed ready to go.

I'm draggin along my 53 year old father next year on my safari. It'll be his first out-of-the-US (48) hunt, and he's as pumped as you are.
