Bryan Chickkalahari Safari
I purchased, at auction, at the Dallas Safari Clubs Convention, this Jan., a 7 day hunt with Janneman Brand, who owns, along with his wife Aldalene, Kalahari Safaris located about 70 klicks south of Gobabis, Namibia. I throughly enjoyed my trip to the extent that my wife and I will return next April. The quarters were good, the food great: hell, I ate better than at home. The countryside reminded me of West Texas, with the addition of red sand.
We saw lots of critters and managed to collect a kudu, oryx, zebra, eland amd springbok. Three of them qualified, according to Janneman, for Namibian gold medal, whatever that is. If anyone wants a good enjoyable hunt try them out.

Bryan Chicki don't know if it is me, my computer or, our internet connection here on St. Thomas, but, I have not been able to send photos to anyone! Janneman made a pretty good slideshow for me out of our digital photos that we watch through our dvd player

bobgaBryan,
We, too, just completed a hunt with Janneman Brand at Kalahari Safaris. See post for Namibia Hunt Report from me. We had a great time also, thought the place was great, Janneman and Aldalene were the best. On posting pictures look at forum on how to post, you first will need a source like photobucket to make it easier.

KUDUBULLWhere at the pics? I know exactly where you were at on Safari. It is one of my favorite places to hunt. See any mambas or spitting cobras?
Congrats on a great trip!
All you need are the oil wells and it is West Texas!

Bryan ChickThe only snake I saw was a dead cobra hanging from the top of a tree that one of the hands killed and tossed there
