PAGuardianChristophe,
Fantastic photos as always! It is hard to believe it has been 5 years since we hunted the forest together. These photos bring back so many great memories and are a reminder of the dichotomy of hunting the forest. It is the land of the short (the Baka) amongst the towering Ayus trees. The forest is full of life yet you see very little of it. The days of long, wet hunting leave you feeling despair until the utter elation of success!
Thanks for sharing my friend!

It was definitely a great season, lots of walking in the jungle and beautiful animals. Probably the best since I started hunting in Congo. Thanks

Apparently they are very nasty!
Like all smaller version of all species!

K EvansI agree…long ago I worked nights stocking groceries, several guys my age did. Some guys thought they were pretty tough and we would box sometimes on lunch break…worst ass whipping I ever got was from a guy that weighed about 115 pounds but really knew how to box and could punch like a guy twice his size. Lesson learned

470EDDYSPECTACULAR season and photos!! Thank you for sharing!! I must do that hunt with you, but I've got to get my balance back, probably more back surgery??
We are cruising your coast southbound in December and back in February and I would have enjoyed doing a jump off hunt along the way!! Maybe next year??
Wishing you the Best!!
