Just got back from an LDE and buff hunt in Cameroon. Will post report later. But, in the meantime, it is safe and there were no signs of Boko Haram or any other terrorists other than tsetse flies. If was a chaotic and seriously Africa-weird trip but successful and safe. My wife and I were never concerned or worried. If you have a trip there, by all means go. Keep your eyes open and be aware of your surroundings, but it is as safe as America with Obama in charge.
