Anybody book a hunt thru Tony da Costa?

I'ven checked out some of his hunts and they look pretty good, but has anyone tried a HuntPak?

A friend of mine hunted with him and was very impressed. Of course the 65 1/2 inch Kudu may have swayed his view of the trip. I can put you in touch with this hunter if you like.

I have booked with Tony on 3 separate Huntpaks in 2000 and 2001 and have had excellent results each time. The outfitters he set me up with, Barry Burchell @ Frontier Safaris in the East Cape, RSA and Stef Swanepoel @ Numzaan Safaris in the Northern Province and in Kwa-Zulu Natal were professional and had excellent game populations. I took all of my trophies in the packages except one, Mountain Reedbuck, but I just ran out of time. Don't hesitate to use Tony. His wife, Sylvia is a real gem in arranging your travel schedule and his prices are great. Don't believe some other booking agents hype. I've hunted Africa 7 times and Tony does as good or better a job as anyone!

I checked with Tony before booking with another agent. After speaking with Tony I found that he was really set on the animals in each package, no exceptions! There are few packages that have the exact animals that you want. I wanted to exchange
the Zebra for a Wildebeast but couldn't. The package I got from the other operator alowed me to exchange animals or pay the diffrence in the cost of another animal. I traded a Steenbok & Mtn. Reedbuck for Impala & Springbuck.

I have booked 3 hunts with Tony! All were excellent and the hunt paks were animals all of trophy quality. On one hunt I booked through Tony I took my 4 sons and wife, we bought 3 hunt paks and shot 21 animals combined. All of exceptional proportions. The outfitters allowed each of us to hunt off the others hunt paks and we could also shoot animals from the outfitters trophy list. His wife Sylvia booked all flights for our group hunt as well as my individual hunts and they went off with out a flaw. Six adults from wyoming to Bulewayo is quite a challenge. All hunts were in Zimbabwe. [Big Grin]
