Peter Harris/ Nsthonalanga Safaris
This was a great hunt. I took 21 animals in 17 different species. The other six guys in my group took an additional 57 animals. Obviously a great time was had by all. Everything was top notch from the hunting areas and phs to the food and lodging. Peter Harris and Nshonalanga Safaris put together a great trip.

Here is the link to a few pictures of my trip.

Mike, it sounds like you had a great trip. Peter Harris indeed has an excellent reputation. He does a lot for some SCI chapters in the U.S. also.

How in the world can there be any animals left in the Peter Harris hunting area? It seems like everybody hunts there.

Peter has been at this a long time and has numerous contacts. He hunts a large number of different areas so I wouldnt be too worried. That is, unless I get to them all first. [Big Grin]

Mike, I am only going to say that Mr. Harris an(Dipping & Crate Service) is not a man of his word when it comes to doing what he says. I never recieved several trophies, I paid him to send to my taxidermist and then later those he did send where not the animals I shot and of poor condition. Now after several e-mails and phone calls nothing has been settled. I would NEVER trust the man with my trophies again. [Mad]

Chigger/Mike Boyd,

From my own personal experience of dealing with you and Peter Harris, one of you is not telling the truth, and I know it is NOT Peter Harris.

So who does that leave?

One very sad and sick character, who really needs to see a shrink. Honestly, you need to start living like a normal human being, and stop living a parallel live in which you claim to do all sorts of things which are beyond your capabilities - like hunting for example.

Mike,

Peter Harris is a gentleman and Mike Boyd is a brainless idiot, it is as simple as that.

He is too stupid to understand the Internet. He goes on to other web sites and pretends to tell everyone he is The Great White Hunter.

He has no idea people pick him out before he manages 10 posts - they just give him enough rope to hang himself again, and again, and again.

Look at it this way, I have not found much truth in what he says.

I will give you an example of how stupid he is.

He likes to hi-jack the whole conversation at the dinner table, and he has the audacity to tell all of us about his hunt during that day.

After he finished, his PH whispers to me "is Mike talking abour our hunt?", then shakes his head and walks away.

If you do a search on this site you might find quite a bit of interesting information about Mike Boy.

Thank you for your comments on Peter Harris. I have known Peter for better than a dozen years and have found him completely honest and a good friend. He has stayed in my home and I in his, at no charge I might add. I resent some little piss ant troll attempting to raise doubts about his proffesionalism and integrity.

Chigger you seem to be looking for an opening to start a fight. May I suggest you take on someone with a similair interest and go after Todd E and his 'friends'. Or, better yet, learn to bowl and get your fat ass off of the chair and off of the computer.

Saeed and gator1, I have no doubts about Peter. He is a known entity to me. He has always been a gentleman and good for his word. I wont hesitate to hunt with him again. As to this other fellow,,,
The only thing I see is someone trying to stir up trouble. Not just this thread but all of his posts. I usually try to stay out of derogatory posts but I will make an exception in this case.

I am an ex-professional hunter that hunted in Africa for years.Staying now in Dubai and missing Africa alot.
I know alot of PH and outfitters in Africa.
Peter is one of the best not only because he has all the years of experience but hes a man of his word and always go the extra mile for his clients.
Great hunting

In May 2000, I spent 18 days hunting with Peter
Harris and shot 27 animals. Peter is not only
a blast to hunt with, he is honest and fair. On two different occasions the animals I shot were not "right": one was sick and the other was a screwup (which was in and of itself a long and hilarious story!). Immediately upon seeing the situation and before I said a word, Peter simply said "...this is on me." What else can you ask from a PH? Taking full responsibility for your actions is the true test of character as far as I'm concerned.
Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed Peter both as a PH and as a friend. I would recommend him without any
reservation whatsoever.

I worked for Peter for many years. I know his whole family as if they are part of my own Family. I however no longer work with Peter. It has nothing to do with Him or his buisness. I had to make a tough choice between several different top of the line operations. I chose another Safari operation with whom I am a partner now. Peter will make good on what he claims. I have seen it come out of his own pocket more then once when a problem arrises. He has the best trackers and skinners in the business and a guest house and staff that can only be equalled not surpassed.

Although I don't work with Peter today, I would not be able to find fault with any part of the operation he runs and I know how it works from the inside! Peter is a great business man whom I have learned a great deal from in my life.

Please ignore the man of many names Mike Boyd or chigger, latigo, or whatever he is using now. As Saeed has said he has no hunting credibility, experience, or skill. He was an embarrasment to all Americans and was the laughing stock of the Safari business for the entire year after he departed. His annoying personality was talked about for months after his hunt around campfires throughout South Africa. If he only knew what was said about him in Afrikaans the whole time he was there! He would sit laughing at the jokes being told as if he understood and they were actually about him!

I hunted with Peter Harris (which I became in contact through JJHACK, who arranged the hunt for a friend of mine and myself).

No words could I use to describe how much I did appreciate the experience we had there!!

Peter and Deon are both gentlemen and very serious outfitters. I'll hunt with them anytime soon.

IMHO, Gus

Gator1, Deon wont be here. Just Peter and Marte'.
It would appear that master Deon has went off and gotten himself married again. [Smile]

Matt,

This is amazing news.

I have told my wife that any women who marries a man whose heart is in Africa is mad.

And she agrees with me!

So Deon found himself another mad woman. Good for her [Big Grin]

One has to watch out for the South Africans and their jokes! In college I asked a friend from Johannesburg what was the proper way to greet a lady in Afrikaans. He replied one should bow low and with a grand flourish exclaim," EK Vool Ya Pussy Heh".

Luckily I never encountered a SA lady to try out my new linguistic skill. Or I might not be here today.

Saeed, I met her this past trip, besides being a real beauty she is a sweetheart. I asked what she was doing with a loser like that. [Big Grin]
In all honesty Deon is a great guy and the two make a good couple. My best wishes for all. However with Africa as a mistress there will always be competition.
