Trip to the Conservancy .

I am about to undertake a private hunt for myself and a couple of friends in the Save Conservancy. The basis of this hunt is a Buff for me, but perhaps more importantly, we(3 friends and I) have decided that our respective offspring are now ready to shoot their first animals. All of them have been well taught in weapons handling and all of them have been on previous hunts , but have never hunted themselves. The youngest is 10 years old(and shoots like a marksman) and the oldest is 14.

I know this hunt report wont be in keeping with the rest of the fantastic reports on AR, but hopefully we will be able to post a good , fun report with some pics of a couple of kids(me included) who fell in love with hunting and the African bush.

Dear Zim

Good to here. I am also taking my kids 9-11 this year for there first trip to africa.

They have hunted before in New Zealand and Aussie.

Would be very interested how many stalks it took before a shot was taken.
Also what size rifle was used.

I know you will have a good time.
As I now do even though I shoot less and trips become more expensive.

Do you kids were clothing that stands out, blaze orange, normal or camo clothing.

What was your best method, spot and stalk or sit and wait?

Good luck and have a safe and successful hunt. On my two trips to Africa, I have taken our oldest son with me, and those are some of the most cherished memories I have. Enjoy them!
