Mokore Safaris Dangerous game photos 2016
Mokore Safaris had another great season with many good trophies taken between our three concessions, Mokore in the SVC ,Sengwa research and Coutada 9 in Mozambique.

Below are some of our dangerous game trophies taken in 2016.

As you can see some nice old dagga boys were taken. Our widest bull was a bit over 43" and another bull had a SCI score of 124" which was the highest recorded SCI scoring buffalo shot in Zimbabwe in 2016.

Some good cats were taken with our heaviest weighing 69 kilos.

SCI Number 8 hyena.

I hope you enjoy the dangerous game photos and I will post our plainsgame trophies separately.

Great Pics Neil, thank you for posting

Andrew, that area is full of lions, lots of them there. In my 11 days of wandering around on property I saw only one live one, but my brother saw lots of them over on the mine where he mainly hunted with Doug. It seemed as though every time I looked down there where lion or leopard tracks on the ground. We hung a Zebra 1/4 in one of the anti-poaching fenced compound's and threw some guts out on the ground to bait for bushpig and the lions circled the whole place on the first night. We heard lions roaring almost every night for the first part of our safari, including one night of the a most spectacular lion roaring contest between a couple lions. It looks like Neil has taken some good trail cam pics late in season.

Gillette, the Buff in the pic with the man in Leupold hat was shot while I was there, he has huge bosses. My buff is pictured with myself in the DU hat and my(Gary's) tracker for the hunt Washington. I thought he was pretty big bossed till Tim shot his.
