safari-lawyerMe thinks I want to go to Uganda. The picture sequences are really cool, especially the bushbuck.
However, where are the buffalo & hunter pics?

shakariI reckon that Uganda will take the crown of African hunting from Tz within 5 years.... so the best time to go is ASAP.
However, you need to bear in mind that whilst it's a great hunt and a tremendous adventure, it's not suitable for the champagne safari crowd.
I think we have one vacancy left for this year.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

GraftonThat impala has to be one of the most fantastic African game trophies I have seen in a while. I am so used to seeing the southern impala that those east African horns are incredible to me. Congrats to you. Looks like a great place for a safari.
Man those are some fantastic trophies and looks like you had a really good trip. I like the watuis cattle picture......for me i would have tried to negotiate for one of those as well

Well done!
Glad to see such fine hunting opportunity in Uganda.

sevenmagltd.Looks like Uganda has moved up on the bucket list. I also like the watusi cattle. I have a small herd and would love to have some of that original bloodline to mix with mine. For those that have never seen a watusi up close, photos do not do them justice!! The horns are simply incredible plus they are originally from Africa which makes then special.
