DB BillWarning about older links !!!
I was going back thru some of the older reports to check on a couple of safari operators and i ran across some "links" to eithyer hunt reports or operator'w web-sites that someone had corrupted to lead to porn sites.
Before you go back and look thru the old reports make sure your anti-virus program is working as this type of high-jacking frequently has either a virus or a worm in it and sometimes both.

BwanahileDB,
Thanks for the heads up as well. I wonder who would do something ridiculous like this?

Three guesses and the first two do not count!!

T.CarrIf you come across an old post with a porn link, copy the URL and post it here. I will go and clean it up.

T.CarrI found the Garry Kelly link. Someone has taken Garry's domain name and switched it to a porn site. The link on AR has not been corrupted internally. I went to My Favorites and clicked on Garry's link and it takes you to the porn site. Hope Garry can get his domain name back.

Terry
Terry,
They are becoming very clever now.
They check what sites you normally look at, and then taylor their messages to catch you.
For example, I have a spam filter, and unless the sender is in my address book, or the subject line is not related to AR or hunting, it just deletes the messages.
Now I find that so many messages have something to do with hunting or shooting in the subject line, while the body of the text is totally irrelevant!! You know, the usual, viagra, insurance, enlarge parts of your anatomy or porno.
The good part is I just put these on my blacklist, so they never appear again.
But, new ones are coming up every day.
I just looked at my blacklisted address, over 78,000!!!

I would, without hesitation, use an axe to chop off the hands of those who are sending all these spam messages!

They also use known email addresses as false sending addresses. I have received spam from many of the agents and outfitters posting on AR whom of course were innocent. Also nitroexpress.com has been and still is stolen and misrepresented as a sending address. Usually the activity "spikes" during troll wars on the forums. A co-incidence maybe.
