Early season elephant with CMS 2012
Great bull and a fine report. Thank you. I did this hunt last March, and I'll never forget how thick things are.

Thanks Marty, I was prepared for conditions after talking to you. That jess can truly get thick in spots.

Gunny,
Beautiful elephant, I love that ivory. Good for you, willing to hunt the thick stuff.
Makes it a bit more exciting!

Good work Gunny!

I saw your ivory at CMS's office, it is beautiful!

Al spent Sunday night in camp w/Buzz and I, and he had wonderful things to say about your hunt and time together. We went for a last evening cruise looking for that kudu, but no luck. As you say, he's still there!

Welcome back Bill, Hope you had a good time. Looks like I might have to rebook to have another look for that Kudu. Can't wait to hear your report. Get some rest.

So when do you guys consider the end of the early season and the beginning of winter hunting?

I should think that mid to end of April with most of the Crops harvested and the humidity dropped to a comfortable level would spell the end of early season hunting.

Samir, It's actually just one bull. After taking pictures in the position that it fell we cut a tree away and pushed it over for a different photo perspective. Alan suggested this and it turned out to be a great idea. My guess is that most PH's wouldn't take the time to do this.
