Phillip SmytheIvory Trail Safaris - End of Year report.
Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen,
2013 was a great year for Ivory Trail Safaris and as we go into 2014 – some new and exciting ventures are eminent.
Ivory Trail has taken on a new area – Gokwe North Campfire Area.
With now the added bonus of hunting after daylight hours for cats, this greatly increases ones chances on leopard and the smaller of the cats - Genets, Civet, Servals as well as the likes of porcupine, hyena etc
Dangerous game bow hunting, handgun hunting and black powder is permitted with a special permit required in Gokwe North!
Situated on the banks of the Ume Rive and operating on solar power allows game to regularly pass through the camp. Camp is a stilted camp – comfortable with hunting right from our doorstep!
Some pictures of the area!
Having access to Lake Kariba as well allows a hunter to include HIPPO and CROC
To quickly recap some highlights of last year 2013.
The one that got away….
I think this one died when he heard the shot….! All skin and bones!
Couldn't resist this one!!
As we go into the new 2014 year – Thank you to all who made 2013 possible.
Leah and myself will be at DSC in a week and SCI at the beginning of Feb.
I can be contacted on 214 – 790 5805
Otherwise – Wendell Reichs Hunters Quest or Safari Outfitters at both conventions
Happy New Year
Happy Hunting

G L KrausePhil, great season and thanks for helping to make me part of it. My ivory looks sooo big next to little Leah, I think she should pose with all ivory in the future.
See you in Dallas next week.
