A 58 pound Elephant is an above average trophy
Botswana still has the best Elephant hunting in Africa, this year in our NG 47 concession we took a 70 pound bull with Pat Short of Waco TX , and a 70 Pound bull with Carlos Junco from Madrid Spain. The best part is that Elephant of 70 pounds can still be taken for less than $35 000-00 on a 14 day hunt, incl trophy and license fee. Most Elephant hunts are based on tusk weight and you can hunt up to 49 pounds for under $25 000-00 and 50 - 59 pounds for $28 500-00 and 60 pounds and above will cost you around $29 900-00, this includes 14 days , trophy and license , transport to camp return , transport of trophy to shipper , field preparation , VAT , concession fees and royalties.

Again well done on a nice bull and I am sure you are even more pleased with the brain shot , not a task for the faint hearted.
