Just trying to keep the thread going.

I hunt with a bow and arrow or I set up small traps. I hunt for meat during winter time. And I hunt alone.

Ohh I am very anti sports hunting. I think it retarded to kill an animal just so you can collect the horns. Whats really exciting about killing an animial with a freaking gun, when the animal can't even defend itself. All the videos in here just prove my point. Some guy will be 100 yards away, the animal will the minding its own business, then you kill it, and you all cheer like its some sort of ball game and you just scored a touchdown.

Personally I'm suspect of anybody who does not put his location and other data for members to read.

I know a woman hunter who is also "a brother".

I can tell a good story about a time that I guided her and her friend near Marken in the [now] Limpopo province in about 1988 or thereabouts, well before the onset of the new political dispensation in 1992. The concession owner [a staunch Afrikaans boer] was initially a bit, well let's say 'uneasy' when I confronted him with the fact that one of the clients will be a black woman! In the end he had a very great respect for her amply demonstrated ability to really deccimate the francolin population on his property with her SxS 12 guage! It was a great hunt, main hunter got a very nice warthog [the main object of the hunt] and his companion got a whole bunch of Swainsons francolin and admiration and respect from the landowner! A good time was had by all, and the "boer" ended up having lost all his fear of members of a different race and gender!

It is quite true that more males than females hunt, and that more whites than balcks hunt. But, so what? My own hunting, and definately my outfitter business has been quite color blind for a very long time now!
