StopckmakerTrophy Shipment
I want all Namibia hunters to know of an unbelievably quick return of our trophies from this year's hunt in Namibia. We returned to Albuq. on June 14 after arranging for shipment with Pam Foerster's International Air Cargo Services in Windhoek and Coppersmith .The shipment of 5 animals arrived in Albuquerque in just 9 weeks ! As I had heard of shipments taking 8-9 months or more I was amazed by such speedy service. I think that it must a record ! Can anyone top this for receipt of trophies ? Try Int. Air Cargo Services on your next hunt.
Pam and Don Truly at Coppersmith did GREAT work
so give them a try...

I know several people who have used Don as agent in the passed and have had nothing but praise for his work.

I have to ask, did you really intend to spell your board name "Stopckmaker"?

SWPAhunterStopckmaker,
I just returned from Namibia so I am very interested in what you have to say. When you say that 5 animals were delivered in 9 weeks I assume they were mounted animals and not skins. Is this so? Also, I'm assuming that International Air Cargo was the shipper. Was Coppersmith the taxidermist? I apologize if I got this all mixed up but I currently have about 9 animals at a taxidermist in Windhoek and I'm now trying to select a freight company. From the preliminary information that I have air freight does not cost that much more than ocean freight. Is this your assesment or does Intn'l Air cargo offer different levels of service?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

JTEXI still haven't heard a word from HHK on my shipment from June '09.................

StopckmakerOur shipment was only horns and one cape. Int.Air CargoService was the shipper from Windhoek to the US. Coppersmith is the customs broker who received the shipment in Dallas. My intended monicker was STOCKMAKER. I have not yet corrected the mispelled name, taking out the "p".

jeff hI had a terrible experience with Pam. She out and out lied to me about my shipment. The taxidermist I was using did make an effort to make things right so I won't name him but Pam promised and then did nothing. I can post pic of broken ele. tusks. Lost trophy's and dispite $2000.00 in shipping charges she put no ins. on the shipment. Pam's company is the last one I would use.

Tom In TennesseeYep! Hunt early, have horns and hides lay/stay in bush camp forever if hunting outside of NAM or RSA and sometimes there.
I have used a number of shipping companies with varying degrees of happiness...so I recommend none...I do have my taxidermy done in SA by a very good small shop taxidermist. He personally finishes each animal and does not sit in an office "supervising". He has done animals for me from TAN and ZAM in addition to RSA, His cats have "expression".
Shipping mounted is quite more expensive than hides and horns but I still save money over what the SE US taxidermists quote me for African animals.
I use Coppersmith for clearing and receiving and have been totally happy with their service.
If you wish to know who my taxidermy friend is, it is Kruger Human who did the video Steve sells (outstanding) and who wrote the recent article for African Hunting Gazette.
