joedjrLimpopo in South Africa. Photos
I just got back this morning from the northern portion of the Province of Limpopo in South Africa. I was invited by my cousin whose Company owns 16 thousand hectares which is just shy of 40 thousand acres. We were able to hire two P.H's and hunt for a total of 6 days. We stayed at his private home which is spectacular. Each night we were able to eat one of the animals we killed and they were really all great eating. I was fortunate to experience a great adventure and would highly recommend if you love hunting you need to visit Africa. Here are a some of the animals I shot. I was told some will score quite well , but it was more the experience than the inches. And quite frankly I had know idea what I was pulling the trigger on anyway trophy wise. It's a bit different than judging whitetail or mule deer. The P.H.'s were really quick to determine what were shooters. I had a couple not so perfect shots but the trackers did a great job on recovering the game. This was my first tiime over and I can't wait to do it again.
This was my first Impala
This was the second Impala
And the third was 25 1/4 inches.
Two Warthogs.

David CulpepperSome nice animals, who were the PH's you hired?
Your picture of your red hartebeest sure looks like a blue wildebeest to me. Sorry could not resist, looks like you posted the wildebeest picture twice by accident.
Good Hunting,
