Well done Ed. Well done indeed.

It is great to see reports from countries less visited here on AR.

As an add on to this post. Last night I was watching a hunting show and when they arrived in camp everyone was singing because of their success on the lion. I had never had this happen to me when I killed any of the big five and I thought it was done only for the video. Well when we were entering camp with my Mt Nyala everyone started singing much to my surprise. Didn't think they did this in "real" life.

Congratulations on a fantastic safari. Thanks for the great report. Ethiopia is a place I've always had interest in so I specially enjoyed your report. Great animals and experience!

Congrats on a wonderfully successful safari. That is my dream trip in Africa. Now you just have to return for a few more of the endemics and maybe to the Danakil.

Mountain Nyala, Bongo and Sitatunga are classed above the cats and cause for celebration.

" I a ma ma" I'll bet that's what they were singing.
Congrats

DOJ,

I think the country has a bearing on the celebration as well as the particular camp crew. Cats in both Tanzania and Zambia rated a big party for my safaris. Additionally a sitatunga,a hard won roan in Zambia and Lord Derby eland in Cameroon have warranted some incredible singing, caring on, dancing and drunkedness.

Mark, come to think of it there was no singing or dancing when I got my Leopard with Norm Crooks, but they sure got drunk that night at the appy's house. I felt sorry for his wife having to put up with it all while caring for a new born. The thing was they were up at 5:00 AM ripping to go hunting.
