Adam Clements21-day Tanzania Safari
I have been asked by a few on AR to post my last 21-day safari that I just returned from, but do not have much time for all the details and thrills. I will give you a quick breakdown of the safari and a lot of pictures. If you have any questions or want more details, just give me a call.
I took over to Tanzania two of my long time clients who have hunted with me personally in Tanzania on 4 other safaris. This was Dr. Art Hietzler's and Dr. Jan Bax 5th safari with me in Tanzania. Art and Jan are both from Wisconsin and they brought 3 of their friends from California as well John Lindburg, Johnny Lindburg and Todd Cunningham.
We hunted in the Ruhudji block for 5-7 days then transferred to K1 block in the Selous Game Reserve for the reamining 2 weeks. We all had a great time, great laughs, and took some great trophies. I personally guided Art while Jan hunted with Hapreet Brar.
The main objective for this safari was to get two lions, and everything else was a bonus. To make a long story short, Art shot his lion on the 3rd day, and Jan shot his lion on the 8th day. In total the both of them finished the 21-day safari with a total of 48 animals. Richard, my full time cameraman filmed the hunt and got some great footage as well.
Here are plenty of pictures from the safari that I hope you all enjoy. I do not know if I got the pictures sized right or not, but here goes.

Hugh WAdam,
Thanks for the pics. We look forward to more details. A fantastic safari! I know Art and Jan are very pleased.

For other AR members, you should check out the Safaritrackers.com website. Click on Trophy Room 2005.
These pics are great, but seemed to have lost something on to the transfer to AR. Much brighter and clearer on Adams' site.

GibsonGreat photos there Adam. Looks like you shot just about everything possible in your 21 days.

Nice to see some extra photos of the camp life and also animals not shot like those hippos. Very nice leopard and lion and great mass on that buff. I also like those curves on the eland.
Great hunt all around!

AndersWow! Thanks for sharing. That`s a perfect buff according to me.. And awesome cats as well.. And a great way to carry an extra couple of shells... Would the .30-06 fit or were they perfect for bigger "cigars"?

Adam ClementsBill, My double is a .470 Searcy with a lot of extra custom work to it. My 2 clients each used a .custom .375 and .300 that they had made by our own custom gun makers specially made with our logo etc. You can check out our custom guns on my website in the custom gun section.

Adam ClementsGreg, what a gun that is as well. Best double I have ever owned and love it. I have really broken it in properly and Dirk would be a proud man of his creation! Thanks again for the lead.

bwanamrmAll great trophies and looked like a hell of an adventure as well. Who needs a high dollar cartridge carrier...just poke the right size holes in your lobes, insert cartridges and go!!!!
Speaking of nice using guns, I followed Adam's advice and called the Towsman's of Double T Gunshop after getting their phone number from Adam. I am now the proud owner of PH003 a "built to my spec's" .458 Lott...at a heckuva price. Hope to pick it up at the Dallas Show!
