Re: Can anyone recomend a Namibian outfitter?
Fergus,

My wife and I have booked two hunts in Namibia in '05 with two outfitters I book for. They are Jan Oelofse in the Central Highlands (Jan Oelofse Hunting Safaris) and John Wambach (ProGuiding) in the Caprivi Strip.

Jan has an excellent operation and has been in Namibia for over 20 years. John also outfits back pack hunts and portered safaris.

I know Vaughan Fulton from the days when he worked for Jan, he is a good guy. I have not hunted with his new outfit, but the reports here are all excellent.

Don't overlook Farm Felseneck either. It's just north of Windhoek and offers some great hunting. Helgaard and his family and staff will surely take care of you, with all the comforts of home. I hunted impala there for three days before heading to Vaughan Fulton's concession. We had a wonderful time.
