Jim sent me an email wanting to know if I was going. I said, yes I always go. He said he will be there for a book signing deal. It is his newest book. His booth is 854 and 855.
His new book is called Classic Carmichel.

Very cool, the most underrated outdoor writer that ever lived. I have been told he is a hell of a nice guy as well.

His writing got me into reloading.

I've shot BR with Jim and shared his bath tub size martinis. First time I met Carmichel several years ago we were on adjoining benches at the Super Shoot in Ohio. I was sitting there with a shit eating grin on my face. I turned to Carmichel and asked what he thought of my tiny group. He said it was great, but it was on his target and not mine. I had cross fired.

Jim signed and numbered a couple of his books for me at DSC.

Such a pleasure to get a chance to meet a legend. He was so gracious and humble.
