Here are some pics to compliment the hunt report of the same name. Hope you enjoy?
This is Jardim Das Velas where we stayed our first and last night in Beira, Mozambique. Nice place, good water in rooms and just 100 yards from the beach on the Indian Ocean.
Sign post with mileage to camp. Guards and anti poaching guys with snares they found nearby.
Main camp entrance with elephant skulls, our quarters and boma area.
These two had been hanging real close to camp, within 50 yards, of the dining area the three days prior to our arrival. They never came back around while we were there. I think maybe that was a good thing?
Really neat Baboon for the bait sites. PH Boet all up in the air with the baiting activity.
Baobab tree at sunset.
Me and all the gang with my Sable Bull. This was one of my most sought after trophies on this hunt.
This was our camp on the Zambezi River where we hunted Crocs and Hippo. We shared a couple of nights around the fire with AR member Mark Young and his wife in this camp. They were up tiger fishing and enjoying the river.
Way of life on the Zambezi islands.
The locals pulling in my Hippo Bull, showing off this "river horse" with me and the local island dwellers. Talk about a meat supply, they were really happy for all this protein.
Delivering the SCI Blue Bags to the local village was really a special thing.
Meeting the village chief and passing out sweets to all the childern.
My friend Hunter and his Hippo Bull that was recovered after four days in the river.
View from a Croc blind over my old Hippo bones.
The waiting pays off with HK taking this nice Croc.
Zambezi sunset!!
More Leopard bait.
My four hunt Leopard jink comes to closure.
Hunter and Brandon's reallly great Buffalo trophies.
This was a very exciting, over the top Safari in Mozambique, thanks to Grant Taylor and all of the staff at Mashambanzou Safaris. Job well done men!!

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

bwanamrmWell done...
