I stopped by at the elephant museum at Letaba in Kruger and talked with them about the loss. They said that they were storing the tusks from the three and would probably put them on display somewhere in the park, but probably not at the museum at this time. By the way, the museum has ALL of the tusks from all of the biggest tuskers to live and die in the park and you can touch each and every one of them! What an experience! Anyone going to Kruger has to go to the elephant musuem and take in the experience. Of course, a camera is a must.

I was in Kruger in 1999. I have photos of a incredible bull playing in a mud hole and rubbing on a tree. It might be the first bull that died. I could have my wife scan and email the photos to someone if they want to post them. I am a recovering Luddite so I don't think I can do it myself.

p.s. By incredible I mean 100 pound class bull.
