Reloading with WC 872

Hey folks.......post number one! I was wondering if anyone has any starting loads using WC872? The projos that will be utilized are AP, API, APIT, Ball and Incindiary. I was contemplating using 220 grains but if anyone has any personal favorites....please share. I will be using an AR50 for these loads. Thanks!

220 is a good lighter load - mil spec i bellieve is 232. i usually load 225. good for ap api apit but is on the slow side for tracers

butchloc's advice is right on target. I didn't have good luck with 860, but I like 872, meters real nice, and good results, accuracy wise. IMR 5010 will give you much more reliable ignition for your tracers, though.

Thanks for the info! I'll give it a shot with 225 gr of 872 and see how they fly. This powder seems like it's getting more popular and you can't beat the price.
