Hallo john Kofoed from Norway here i have just bought a 500 Asquare and was wondering what type of bullets and ammo you people are using?any that have some cartridges or bullets for sale? clap

This question is probably better posted in the “Big Bores†forum, unless your .500 A2 is throated to shoot long 50 BMG bullets. You’ll find out what guys are shooting in the standard 500 there.

I don’t have a 500 A2 but I’ve got other big bores. I think you’ll find Woodleigh bullets of Australia hard to beat on price and performance. Do a search on Woodleigh and you’ll find what you need there. Also check out midwayusa.com, they carry Woodleigh and other bullets for your A2.

Its just a necked up .460wby but most will shoot a 647gr military .50BMG pull. Try 50 grs of XMP5744 and a military bullet. Good fireforming and fun shooting load. Don't bother trying to buy cases just fireform .460wby cases with bulleseye and cereal filler.-Rob
