low_tech"Pulled" 50 BMG Bullets?
what are the experiences?
buy them for plinking?
if the original bullet was a 1 MOA bullet, does it become a 2 MOA? 5MOA? 10MOA?
if they have been "sized" by the dealer, does that help appreciably?
anybody reload pulled surplus bullets?
API
AP
I
APIT
Ball
from what I understand, it is a commodity that will be going away when the current stocks are sold out.
I can see the puller marks on the bullet, I would think this has got to be really bad for accuracy.
On the other hand, if I load up a couple hundred rounds of APIT, it will be for disabling vehicles from point blank to 1000 yards.
Can I still hit an engine block at a 1000 yards with a couple shots?
anybody have some experience to share on this?

tiggertateFew if any ball, tracer or APTI were 1 MOA to begin with so I wouldn't worry about the effects of pulling them. The APTI are fun to shoot if you have the right place; ball is just plain fun plinking stuff if you don't expect too much in the accuracy dept.

Don55Hi
I shoot api,apit,black tip,spotter tracer,tracer and blue tip.
I don't resize any bullets. As these were originally made for full auto use they are not going to be as accurate as hunting or target slugs. Unless there is a gross distortion in size I just load and shoot.
