Can anyone tell me anything about a rimmed version of 50bmg as i cannot have it here in Spain .50bmg as it is considered to be military. Does such a thing exist? here, they change for example 308 win to 307 win, which is the same but rimmed! load of bollocks i know but thats the law...odd that my 38 lapua mag is not military, nor my 9mm parabellum (for war!!!)

If you need 50 BMG power in a civilian cartridge, then the 50 DTC should be for you. It is made from the BMG cartridge, just 1/8th inch shorter and blown out at the shoulder a bit so it will not fit into the BMG chamber. I believe EDM Arms can chamber a rifle in 50 DTC for you.
