I am currently at the AUSA (Association of the US Army) show in DC and asked the Barret guys about the .416. They expect introduction in late 2007. Conversion of the existing gun requires a new barrel, boltface and magazine. Pretty simple I think. The guys at the booth had literature, but no other hardware
