I got my 15" 445 SM Encore barrel back today. Looks good, I can hardly waite to try it out. Mr. Bellm had already done the re-chamber job for me and that was impressive enough. I sent it back in and had him machgine in a brake.... I may just give the fly shooting match a try now.

Mike BellmAll of the other jobs here for brakes are done also, and in the morning I am test firing another .445 SM (Contender) with my brake machined into it. Notice that I machined in the brake, THEN chambered it. I'll do about anything to avoid test firing .445s and .444 Marlins without a brake!
The other barrels here for brakes will get chambered next up. So if your job included a brake, you can expect to see it soon.
UMB, let us know what you think of the effectiveness of the brake.
