I know they are no longer made and a recent internet search for more info on one resulted in very little info on them.

Lyman owns Pachmayr now so maybe a call to them would yield some info though I doubt it.

I wonder if Springfield Armory is still making their SASS which is the same concept on a 45 ACP frame.

I found the following http://www.m1911.org/mod_stah.htm It looks alot like a gun My neaghbor (George Hoenig) developed for Pachmayr a few years back. He is quite the gunsmith. He has developed a lot of great guns.
