Accutaly the wait for a barrel from Fox Ridge isn't that long right now. I ordered a 10" 25-20 barrel December 12 and got it January 20.

Top-Most TC shooters who have been around a while don't consider Fox Ridge a "custom" shop. The chambering techniques are the same as for a standard factory barrel. You simply have a few more options in terms of calibers, contours and finishes.

Yes, I realize that Fox Ridge in not really a custom shop but if you are interested in IHMSA production categories, as I am, the real custom shop products are not allowed. BTY, I got the 25-20 for IHMSA Field Pistol.
