TweesdadRe: 130 gr Barnes X in .308 win?
In the Sierra 5th Edition loading manual they specifically recommend either the 125 Spitzer, or the 135 Single Shot Pistol. I have used the 125 (Stock # 2120) and it drops a deer like the hammer of Thor. Low recoil, deadly accurate. Use the accuracy load the publish in the book. They ain't lying.

Paul HThanks for the replies. Sounds like a 150 gr bt is the way to go, which is good as they are less exspensive than the X bullets, and from my tests in the .308 rifle, easy to make shoot scary accurate groups.
