New XP on a Nesika pistol action?
Has anyone build a bolt action speciality pistol on a Nesika pistol action?

Would you do it again or prefer something else?

It seems like buying a second hand xp100 is just as expensive as buying a new single shot action.

What actions have you used for mid grip xp100s?

Just the single-shot XP actions.
Couldn't go wrong with a Nesika or Defiance XP clone action though.
Would likely end up costing you less in the long run if you would have the smith true the action if you got a used XP-100.

Blazer93, as you are a resident of Maryland, be sure to find out if any of the custom single shot pistol actions are on the "approved" list.
When the Kelbly "Cub" first came out they were not and could not be transferred to a Maryland resident.

I still have a house in Md but I bought a farm in Lower Delaware.
Delaware is alot better Carrie permits are
not so hard to get.
Ernie helped me with advice building a Bolt pistol , By the time you change and fit a PPG bolt true the action and buy the XP 100 action
you can buy a Defiance action for less.
Xp 100 $650-700
PPG bolt $300
Truing Action $250 or so
round numbers $1000 +
Defiance less than $1000

Looks like I originally asked this 3 years ago.

I used to be MOA Tactical.

I concur.

A new XP-100 action from Defiance is about $1300.

If you could make the barreled action that Shilen sells (it is a Stiller) fit a XP-100 stock it could be done barreled and all for $1500 out the door.

Not sure who makes center grip XP-100 triggers.

HS Precision and McMillan both make XP-100 stocks.

Either gun would be considerably cheaper than buying a new XP-100 from HS Precision, they are about $3400 I think.
