Re: How can I improve?
Great shooting! I'm assuming this was done off-hand.
I turned in a my best group ever today @ 100 yards, but it sure was not off-hand.

How can I improve? What would you guys suggest? How and what should I do These are 2 consecutive groups a 4 shot and a 3 shot. These were shot at 25 yards. I don't visit this forum enough to know what caliber you are shooting, and whether scoped or with irons, factory loads or handloads.

Assuming this is a scoped contender, I'd move the target out to at least 50 yds, 25 yds simply is too close for a contender.

You need to have a good shooting rest, IMHO, a handgun rest is more critical than a rifle rest. There are alot of different opions on how to and how not to rest a contender. My technique is considered wrong by some, but has accounted for the occasional 1 hole 100 yd group, and is consistant for me. I put the forarm of the gun on a solid rest, you can use a rifle forearm rest, make up a wooden block, etc. I have a double sock filled with rice, and put this under the grip. I squeze the rice bag with my off hand to get the sights pointing in the right direction. Then I gently squeze off the shot.
