Saturday i mounted a Burris 2x-7x in Burris Zee rings. I had purchased a set of Leupold Dual Dovetail in low and they were too low. The mount is Competitors "Universal" mount. It has cross slots for weaver style rings and 4 holes for dovetail rings and is made of steel.

I shot some fireforming loads that i had loaded for my 10" TC barrel. I am struggling a little with the mid-grip and shootin from a bench but did shoot a few 3 shot groups under 1" at 100 yards. (Just gives me an excuse to shoot more [Wink] ) The fireforming loads used the old Hornady 120 SSP bullet. I also fired a few Sierra 130 SSP and it did seem to like them a little better. Will be loadin some more Sierra's this week for another session next weekend. -

Congrats
On the barrel I know you've been waiting for a while to get started on this one. The 130 Sierras worked well for me too. Better than the 120 & 140 BT's ase far as accuracy. Good luck!
