7TCU Varmint loads???
What load (bullet/powder/primer/cases) are you using for varmint loads?

I have been using Sierra's 130 and Hornady's 120 (lead tipped) with AA2015 in Win cases for woodchucks. These loads have worked well but i am interested in a possible improvement in bullets.

What are you using and how well does it work?

Mike, you could try the Speer 115 gr hp. I don't have any experience with it in a pistol, but it is very accurate in my 7 mag and my STW.

Mike, I have been using the Hornady 120gr HP #2815. It has the same poa as my deer load using the hornady 120gr ssp. They sem to be very easy to expand. When I am digging around in my sand filled backstop, I never find more than small fragments of the bullet. The ssp will hold together and mushroom. For me it has worked for it is just a bullet change and I am ready for deer, same sight settings and recoil.
