xphunterVarget and the 260 Remington
Have any of you guys used Varget for the 260 Remington?
Good results?
Accuracy?
MV compared to other powders used?
I have just finished putting together some rounds for load development with the 120 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip. It is for a MOA Maximum in 260 Remington (14 inch barrel). It is what my daughter will use for deer hunting this year.
I bought this handgun from my hunting buddy. he had a load developed for a 140 Partition that would group from .5-.6 at 100 yards (3-shot groups). But he forgot to list the powder and he can't remember now what he used. It is good to know it does like 140 Partitions should the need arise to use them.

xphunterRich,
My daughter is 13 and my boy is 8. The picture you saw of my daughter at the clinic with 221 fireball xp-100 was when she was shootin dogs 5 years ago.
I love watching her shoot off the bench with a specialty handgun and watch some of the guys do double takes when they look at her target.
First, they are shocked to see a girl shooting a handgun like that and second, they are amazed at the groups she shoots.
My head is so big sometimes I have a hard time getting in the truck.
