Kleen Bore "LEAD AWAY"
Has anyone tried the "Lead away" from Kleen Bore?
I have used this stuff for more than 15 years. It is a yellow cloth that acually wipes away lead and fouling. I cut a patch to run through the bore. It will also clean up the Powder burns on the breach end of the revolver Cyl and top strap.
Just wondering if anyone else has tried it..Pros or cons............I know it will remove the blueing..Not for the Exterior of your Nice new barrel.

Yup, I keep a sheet of lead away at the bench. I have used it for several years now with great results. My first purchase of it was to clean up the chambers of an S&W Mod. 29 that had seen too many 44Sp. soft lead loads. Since that time I have found it handy for many a stubborn lead or powder fouled bore [Big Grin] .
