Just woundering what kind of velocities you guys are getting out of your 7mmBR with a 139gr bullet ? What lenght of barrel and what powder are you using ?

I use the 120 gr Ballistic Tip for all my 7mm BR hunting now. I get 2500 fps even with 33.0 gr H-335 over a CCI-400 primer.

I did test the 140 gr Ballistic Tip and got it to an average of 2235 fps using the same H-335.

The 120 is just a much better choice for the little round and will cleanly harvest any mule or whitetail deer out to 200 yards easily.

IMR4895, H4895, H335, and Re10x have given me 2500 fps or so with max charges out of my 21" shilen-barreled rifle using 140 Nosler BT.
